Honoring Betty Jean Turner
Stay positive and keep fighting.
Hello and thanks for visiting the Betty Jean Cancer Free Nonprofit Organization website. It’s been a long journey since 2009, and we have been dealing with great loss since my grandmother has left this earth.
A Story of Love and Loss
I recently put this website together to honor her name and show the families of recent victims and families that are dealing with this deadly disease today that you are not alone. Lung cancer is what my grandmother was diagnosed with. This disease, while it comes in the form of a lump or a tumor, we thought it was normal and could be fixed. With little to no education about cancer at the time, we were in for one of the biggest life-changing circumstances we ever faced.
Death doesn’t come easy. We were kids pretty much dealing with the loss.
RIP Betty Jean Turner – 1940–2009
Love you always – your grandsons, Christopher Robertson and Yohance Foster
A Look at Who My Grandmother Is
Here are some pictures of who my grandmother is. RIP.
A Message of Hope
You Are Not Alone
To every family facing this deadly disease today: stay positive and keep fighting. This organization exists to walk alongside you in honor of Betty Jean Turner.
